Hello Being A Wordsmith readers! For this edition of Throwback Thursday Tell-All, I am remembering The Deuce’s first NBA game. Hubby and I took him to see the New Orleans Hornets play at the New Orleans Arena in 2008. Allow me to remark on how things change with the passing of time…the Hornets have been renamed the Pelicans and the New Orleans Arena was renamed the Smoothie King Center.
The Deuce was only 1 year old then and couldn’t sit still because of all of the activity around him. Yes, his head is still that big and the white film on his finger is Scotch tape. It was a deterrent to control his habit of putting his fingers in his mouth. It eventually worked.
